“The Amazing Tuscan Chef Oven”
Our “Tuscan Chef” customers Derek and Julie Matthews have shared their personal and tragic story with us. They own a cottage on the French River, in northern Ontario, Canada. In June 2019, their cottage was completely destroyed by fire from an unknown cause.
Thankfully, there were no injuries but very little remained of their cottage and their outdoor accessories, except for their Tuscan Chef Oven, which survived in the middle of the fire.
The Matthews have been able to rebuild their cottage and have once again been enjoying their “getaway” time and their GX-C1 oven. They only had to replace the wheels, thermostat, name badge and cover. Julie loves to cook in their oven and once a week she bakes bread in her TC oven and welcomes visits from the neighbours as she prepares the oven.
